About The Leveson
The Leveson is a pub on Leveson Street in North Melbourne, behind a Victorian facade that dates the building to 1870. Inside it runs a front bar, a restaurant and a grassed courtyard, and it trades for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday. Upstairs, the Queensberry Room is the main private space. It has high ceilings, stencilled walls, handmade candelabras and chesterfield couches, plus a private bar, its own bathrooms and air conditioning, and it holds 75 standing, 50 theatre style or 40 at the table. Downstairs, the courtyard sits under a retractable roof with heaters, a bar nearby and a large smart TV, taking 60 standing, or 100 once the back bar is added. The Arden Bar beside the front bar is a semi-private corner for 45 with high tables and a TV, and the Hotham Room boardroom seats 14. The restaurant seats 80 or holds 100 standing and can be joined with the courtyard, and with the whole restaurant included the venue takes about 200. That makes it workable for anything from a small dinner to a closed-venue party. Canapé packages start at $32 per person for six selections, with shared platters and heartier bowls to add, and the set menus run to two or three courses around parmas, schnitzels and steak. Drinks can be a basic or premium package of two to four hours, a bar tab or guests buying their own. The upstairs room suits playlists, DJs or acoustic acts, while the courtyard is limited to your own music through the speakers. Send an enquiry to book and the team will confirm which space fits your numbers.

Delightful local pub. Good food and great vibes. We were well looked after by our waitress Sunday. She was an absolute stand out with her customer service and made our experience. Great place to watch the footy.
