About The Deck @ The Meadows
The Meadows Conference and Events Centre sits on Northcorp Boulevard in Broadmeadows, inside the grounds of the greyhound racing track run by the Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association. The Deck is its dedicated party space. The room combines a modern indoor area with its own bar and several audio-visual screens. Doors open onto a wide timber deck and a patch of artificial turf beside the track. It is heated and has split-system cooling, so it works in any season. The Deck takes up to 150 guests for a cocktail party or 60 for seated dining. The venue pitches it for milestone birthdays, presentation-style functions and bucks and hens parties. You can also hire it on a race night, when the deck sits close to the 525m starting boxes. Catering is cooked on site by the in-house chef. Options include roving canapés with antipasto platters or dessert boards, BBQ packages for the deck, and two or three-course seated meals, with dietary choices across the menus. Drinks can be a basic, standard or premium beverage package, a bar tab managed by staff, or guests paying their own way. Outside catering is not allowed apart from celebration cakes, and you can send an enquiry to get a quote.
