About Highways Springvale
Highways Springvale is a large hotel on the corner of Princes Highway and Corrigan Road in Springvale. Alongside its bistro and sports bar it runs two function areas, both available seven days a week. The Function Room is a fully private space with its own bar, dedicated audio-visual equipment and two outdoor areas for fresh air or a smoke. It seats 80 to 100 guests or takes 150 standing. Ahern's Lounge Bar is the semi-private choice, seating 50 or holding 120 for a cocktail party. It comes with its own bar, a dance floor, two pool tables and a large outdoor area, with AV available as an add-on. Food starts with a buffet of carvery meats, hot mains, salads and desserts at $40 per person for groups of 40 or more. Set menus run $50 per person for two courses and $55 per person for three, alternating two dishes per course, and party platters can be ordered for cocktail-style events. The all-inclusive packages are the simplest way to run a party. Each covers room hire for five hours, a cake and gift table, staff, a set number of platters and a $300 bar tab, priced at $1,000, $1,250 or $1,500 depending on guest numbers. Daytime corporate bookings run between 8am and 6pm, with room hire including the projector, screen, roving microphone and WiFi. All functions finish by 1am, and you can send an enquiry to book.

Bronze is $1,000 for 40 to 60 guests with 6 platters, Silver is $1,250 for 60 to 80 guests with 8 platters. Gold is $1,500 for 80 to 100 guests, with 10 platters and cake cutting and serving. Any of the three can run in Ahern's Lounge Bar or the Function Room.
What are the sit-down and buffet menu prices?
The buffet is $40 per person with a minimum of 40 guests and is served only in the Function Room. The set menu is $50 per person for two courses or $55 per person for three, with a minimum of 50 guests.
What AV is available?
The Function Room has its own audio-visual equipment and music connectivity. For corporate use there is a data projector and screen, a roving microphone, a sound system, WiFi and a whiteboard, while AV in Ahern's Lounge Bar is a $50 add-on.
What time do functions finish, and can we decorate?
All functions must finish by 1am. You are welcome to bring decorations, but avoid tape, confetti or anything else that could mark the surfaces.
