About Rooftop @ State of Grace
State of Grace is a three-level venue at 27 King Street in the Melbourne CBD: a European-style restaurant and bar at street level, a hidden cellar bar called Fall From Grace below it, and a rooftop bar on top. The rooftop is the casual part of the building, with tall towers on every side and a menu of sourdough pizzas, share plates, cured meats, haloumi and fries alongside cocktails, tap beers and tinnies. For functions the rooftop can be booked in parts or as a whole. The front section takes 30 to 60 guests and the raised section 20 to 50, while exclusive hire of the full rooftop takes up to 200. Hens groups can book Higher Grace, a semi-private rooftop package for 15 to 60. All levels of the venue are wheelchair accessible apart from the dining mezzanine, with accessible bathrooms on each floor. Canapé packages are $40 per person for six pieces, $49 for eight and $61 for ten, and substantial pieces such as mini cheeseburgers are $13.50 each. Shared set menus run from $73 to $90 per person, and grazing stations are offered for groups of 50 or more. Drinks packages run for two, three or four hours, from $53 per person for two hours on the classic package. A bar tab or a cash bar can be used instead, and spirits, cocktails on arrival and Champagne towers can be added. Exclusive rooftop bookings can also add live music and a photobooth.
