About Quarterhouse
Quarterhouse is a pub over three levels at 693 Collins Street, on the Melbourne Quarter corner where the CBD meets Docklands facing the Collins Street side of Southern Cross Station. The ground-floor Public Bar has sport on big screens, a pool table and booths, the first floor is a dedicated functions level, and the rooftop above has cocktails, share plates, woodfired pizzas and DJs later in the week. The Hall is the main private space: the whole of Level One, with high ceilings, exposed brick, large windows, its own bar and a wraparound terrace over Collins Street, taking up to 300 for a cocktail party and set up for long tables and a dance floor at weddings. The rooftop can be hired outright for 250, or sectioned into an inside area for 70 and an open-air area for 40. Smaller options include the 12-seat private dining room with a 40-guest lounge beside it, the semi-private Pavilion for 80 and a booth section of the Public Bar for 30. A lift runs to every level. Canapé packages start at $40 per person for six pieces, with charcuterie and cheese tables and substantial items to add. Seated groups of 12 or more choose shared or alternate-drop menus of two or three courses. Drinks are by package from two to four hours, a bar tab with a set limit, or a cash bar. Weddings can hold the ceremony on the rooftop Sky Park lawn or in The Hall.
