About Private Dining Room @ The Lincoln

The Lincoln is a corner pub on Cardigan and Queensberry Streets in Carlton that has been trading since 1854. Its private dining room, The Lincoln Arms, sits two doors down at 138 Queensberry Street in a restored Victorian shopfront, so your group gets a room to itself while being looked after by the pub's kitchen and staff. The room is lit low, with a wood-panelled bar, high ceilings painted midnight blue and a large vintage Orangina poster by Bernard Villemot filling one wall. It seats up to 30 for lunch or dinner, seven days a week, and audiovisual equipment is available. Bookings give exclusive use of the room for a lunch sitting from 12pm to 5.30pm or a dinner sitting from 6.30pm to 11pm, and guests are welcome to carry on at the pub's bar afterwards. The room suits Christmas parties, milestone birthdays, small weddings, work lunches and dinners, and team planning days. Every function in the room has a set menu served share-style: the $82 per person Lincoln Menu of classic dishes such as slow-roasted lamb shoulder, or the $105 per person Chef's Menu with a seafood platter and Scotch fillet. Dietary needs are handled individually. Drinks can be paid for by guests at the bar or by QR code, or run on a bar tab with a limit that can be raised during the night. A minimum spend of $2,500 applies; any shortfall is charged as room hire.
