About Moreland Hotel
The Moreland Hotel is a corner pub on Moreland Road in Brunswick. It is a traditional pub with a corner bar for sport and pints, a bistro serving pub classics and shareable snacks every day, and a planted beer garden where dogs are welcome (there is even a menu for them). For functions, the pub offers six areas. The Full Deck takes in the most room, with 100 seated or 150 standing, with a fireplace, interactive wall games and a mix of seating. The Half Deck suits 32 seated or 50 standing around its own fireplace, while the indoor Patio seats 70 or holds 100 standing with banquettes and a fire. Outside, the Courtyard has a part roof and a big screen for 80 seated or 120 standing. The Central Zone is a high-top area in the middle of the pub for 28 seated or 40 standing, and the Corner Bar can be hired exclusively, with a bar and amenities of its own plus a door straight out to the smokers’ area, fitting 60 seated or 120 standing. The site pitches functions at everything from casual birthdays and big family celebrations to work get-togethers, for groups from around 60 to well over 100, with the team handling the set-up on the night.
