About MiniTown
MiniTown is an indoor play cafe at 5 Silver Grove, Nunawading, designed for children up to nine years old. Birthday parties are its main event, held in private themed rooms with the play centre open to your guests for the whole booking. There are five party rooms across three sizes. The Dino Room and Space Room suit smaller groups, the Ocean Room and Forest Room take a few more, and the VIP Room can be dressed in whatever theme the birthday child picks, from unicorns to superheroes. Beyond the rooms, children can roam the slides, tunnels, ball pits, foam pit and role-play corners such as a vet clinic and mini-market. A ride-on train circles the central play area, and rides are part of every party package. Each package feeds both children and adults. Kids get nuggets or fish fingers with chips, plus extras such as waffles, juice and yoghurt, while parents are served a spread that takes in sushi, sliders, pizza and pasta. Packages begin at $588 on weekdays for the Super Party and go up to $2,088 for exclusive use of the whole centre for up to 100 guests. Parties run from 10am to 12pm or 1pm to 3pm, and exclusive hire runs from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Helium balloons and the room's themed decor come with every booking, and families can bring their own cake, decorations or costumes. What do MiniTown party packages cost?
Weekday prices are $588 for the Super Party, $788 for the Awesome Party, $1,188 for the VIP Room package and $2,088 for exclusive hire of the whole venue. On weekends and public holidays they are $688, $888, $1,288 and $2,588. Every package covers room hire, food for kids and adults, train rides and play time.
How many guests does each party room hold?
The Super Party in the Dino or Space Room is priced for 8 kids and 10 adults, up to 10 kids and 12 adults. The Awesome Party in the Ocean or Forest Room covers 12 kids and 14 adults, up to 16 kids and 20 adults. The VIP Room package covers 18 kids and 20 adults, up to 22 kids and 26 adults. Exclusive venue hire covers 30 kids and 30 adults, with up to 100 guests in total.
What times do parties run?
Room parties run in two sessions, 10am to 12pm or 1pm to 3pm. Exclusive hire of the whole venue runs from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
Can we bring our own cake and decorations?
Yes. Rooms come decorated and every booking includes helium balloons, but you are welcome to bring a cake, extra decorations, themed snacks or costumes. The team can also organise food for allergies and dietary requirements if told beforehand.
What ages is MiniTown suited to?
The play centre is designed for children from babies up to nine years old. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and socks are required for both kids and adults in the play areas.
