About Menta @ Bomba
Bomba is a Spanish tapas restaurant and rooftop bar at 103 Lonsdale Street, with a bodega-style dining room downstairs and a bar five floors up. Menta is the name Bomba gives to booking the whole rooftop: both of its terraces together, reserved exclusively for one group. The rooftop is made up of two areas. Rojo is the enclosed terrace, with a fixed roof, big windows and heating and cooling, looking over Chinatown and south across the city; it takes 30 standing or 22 seated on its own. Naranja is the original terrace above Lonsdale Street; its roof retracts, its windows slide open and heaters keep it warm, for 60 standing or 38 seated. Booked together as Menta, they hold up to 110 standing, and the booking comes with full use of the bar, the staff and the kitchen. You can also bring your own music or entertainment. Cocktail events are built on tapas grazing packages: $35, $46 or $52.50 per person depending on how many classic and premium tapas you choose, or $75 per person for a main-meal option that adds a ración and verduras. Seated lunches use either the $75 set menu or the $75 bottomless lunch with 90 minutes of drinks. Paella and charcuterie can be added, and drinks packages offer bottomless beer, wine, sangria or cocktails. Menta is not available after 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and cocktail events are not taken in December.

How many guests can the Bomba rooftop take?
Menta, the full rooftop, takes up to 110 standing. Rojo on its own suits 30 standing or 22 seated, and Naranja suits 60 standing or 38 seated.
What do the function packages cost?
Cocktail tapas packages are $35, $46 or $52.50 per person, with a $75 per person main-meal option. Seated lunches are $75 per person for the set menu or the bottomless lunch.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. The kitchen caters for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, halal, pregnancy and a range of allergies if they are given before the event day, though it cannot guarantee dishes are free of allergens.
Can we decorate the rooftop?
Yes, you can bring decorations, but nothing can be fixed to the venue, glitter and confetti are not allowed, and everything must be taken away afterwards. You can arrive 15 minutes early to set up.
When can Menta be booked?
Cocktail events run from 12pm until late, except in December, and seated lunches run from 12pm to 3.30pm. Exclusive rooftop hire is not available after 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
