About Ludlow Bar & Dining
Ludlow is a modern pub at 6 Riverside Quay on the Southbank promenade, open daily from lunch until late. It has a public bar with live sport, a large dining room, a cocktail lounge and three terraces looking over the Yarra, and its functions team handles everything from small dinners to full venue takeovers for corporate events, birthdays, engagements, hens, weddings and Christmas. The spaces scale up in steps. The private dining room seats 20, the dining room 60 privately or 36 semi-privately, and the dining terrace 100. For standing events the lounge and public bar each take 60, the side terrace 50 and the bar terrace 120. Lounge, terrace and bar combined take 250 standing, exclusive dining seats 160 or takes 300 standing, and the whole venue can be hired for up to 600, subject to availability and a minimum spend. Cocktail events start at $45 per person for six canapés, with nine-piece and ten-plus-two-substantial options, substantial canapés at $9 a piece, platters and grazing stations. Groups above 50 are served a shared banquet. External entertainment can play on the terraces or at exclusive hires; other areas keep the venue's background music. The team can supply artificial flowers and tea lights, and outside styling such as balloon garlands is arranged with the event manager.

What do cocktail packages cost?
Option one is $45 per person for six canapés, option two $65 for nine, and option three $80 for ten canapés plus two substantial pieces. Cocktail events need at least 25 guests, and extra substantial canapés are $9 each.
Can we bring a DJ or band?
External entertainment can be set up on the terraces or for exclusive venue hire. Other spaces play the venue's own background music.
Is there a cakeage fee?
Yes, $4 per person, which covers storing, cutting and serving the cake.
Do large groups need a set menu?
Yes. Any group of more than 50 guests is served a shared banquet. Security may be needed depending on the size of the event, charged at $50 per hour per guard.
