About Lilac Wine
Lilac Wine is a wine bar tucked into a converted warehouse at 31 Stephenson Street in Cremorne. It pairs food cooked over fire with a low-lit, loft-party mood, with DJs, cocktails and wine by the glass or bottle. Inside, exposed brick, tall steel-framed windows and hanging globe lights run the length of the room. A long bar lines one side, leaving space for banquet tables down the middle or an open floor for drinks. There are two ways to hold an event. Groups of 15 to 24 can book a semi-private area with a shared menu that changes through the year, or you can take over the whole venue, which seats 75 or holds 120 at a standing party. Exclusive hire suits milestone birthdays, product launches and corporate gatherings. Lilac also hosts weddings, whether that's a small ceremony, a seated reception or a cocktail-style celebration. The chef's menu is $75 per person and is built around the wood fire, with snacks, sourdough, baked cheese, charcoal chicken and smoked beef striploin, then chocolate mousse. A vegan menu is also offered, and salad leaves come from the group's own farm project. The bar opens from 4 pm Monday to Wednesday and from 3 pm Thursday to Saturday.
