About The Glasshouse Caulfield

The Glasshouse Caulfield is a pub on Station Street in Caulfield East, next to Caulfield station and alongside Caulfield Racecourse. Alongside the bistro and sports bar, it runs three areas for private functions. The Function Room is the main party space. Tall windows face the racecourse, and the room has its own bar and a private courtyard, holding 60 seated or 120 for a cocktail party. Throwing Stones sits at the front of the restaurant as a semi-private area for 40 seated or 80 standing, so a group stays part of the bistro atmosphere. The outdoor courtyard beside the bistro takes 50 seated or 100 standing, with heaters, blinds and a TV. Food options include platters that each feed around 12 people, alternate-serve seated menus and BBQ packages for 30 or more. Vegan and other dietary needs can be arranged. Cocktail packages bundle room hire, staff, platters and a set bar tab into one price, and the venue is fully licensed, so no alcohol can be brought in. A smaller all-seasons package covers up to 50 guests for three hours. The Function Room comes with AV including microphones, speakers and screens, plus linen and an entry sign. Send an enquiry with your date, start time and guest numbers to check availability.

Very close to the Caulfield racetrack and part of that broader racing ecosystem. A large property with multiple spaces, I came here by chance to meet a friend but I have mentioned this subtype of venue before: a middle c…
