About Level One Bar @ Terminus Hotel
The Terminus Hotel has been pouring beers on Victoria Street in Abbotsford since 1866, and locals know it as the Termo. Spread over two levels, the pub has a public bar and deco dining room downstairs, a leafy beer garden out the back, and a timber terrace and function bar upstairs, which makes it a handy option for groups of almost any size. The Level One Bar is the pub's main party room. It is styled after a 1920s Paris drinking den, with a folded steel bar painted banana yellow, jungle-print wallpaper, colourful furniture and booth seating that looks down through a six-metre void onto the public bar and stage. There is a dance floor, and the room holds up to 120 people for a cocktail-style event or 50 seated. It can be booked privately, and the team can extend it onto the balcony when you need extra room. Food is ordered from the function menus. Canapé packages run from six pieces at $37 per person up to ten pieces at $56 per person, with grazing tables and platters available on top, and seated menus start at $61 per person for two courses. Drinks can be a basic or premium package for two to four hours, a bar tab you set and review on the night, or a cash bar. Extras on offer include photo booths, drag queen hosts, drag bingo, cakes and painting or terrarium workshops.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests fit in the Level One Bar?
Up to 120 people for a standing, cocktail-style party, or 50 with seating. The balcony can be added to the booking for more space.
What food packages are available?
Canapé packages of six, eight or ten pieces cost $37, $45 and $56 per person, with a minimum of 20 guests. Seated menus are $61 per person for two courses or $73 per person for three, for groups of 10 or more, and grazing tables are $600 or $1,200.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. The function menus mark low gluten, low dairy, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and several items come with low gluten or vegan options.
How do drinks work for a function?
Basic drinks packages are $48 per person for two hours, $61 for three and $75 for four; premium packages are $59, $73 and $87 per person. You can also run a bar tab with a limit you choose, or let guests buy their own at a cash bar.
Is the Level One Bar wheelchair accessible?
The pub says only its beer garden is wheelchair accessible, so it is worth calling the team to talk through access before booking the upstairs bar.

Great value for the express lunch (Mon–Fri, 12–3pm). For $25, you get a selected main with a glass of wine, a pot of beer, or a soft drink — such a good deal! We ordered the beef burger and the pesto gnocchi. The burge…

There was a daily special on Parma’s so I got the Aussie for $25 although it was fairly tasteless and bland and the fried egg on top still had the clear membrane and was undercooked. Pints are over $16 and although the p…
