About Hotel Collingwood
Hotel Collingwood is a pub at 376 Smith Street in Collingwood, on the corner site that was home to the Robert Burns Hotel. The building was reworked inside with white and olive tones, native blackbutt timber, exposed white brick and two restored wood-fired fireplaces, and the beer garden was turned into an all-weather courtyard. It opens daily from midday and hosts functions for groups of around 10 to more than 100. The main private space is Bobby's Upstairs, a bright room set apart from the bar and bistro with its own cocktail bar, beer on tap, a private toilet and full AV including a projector and microphone. It seats 48 and holds 80 to 100 standing. Downstairs, the Bistro is a semi-private dining area with a fireplace for 40 seated, the Wine Room has a communal table, fireplace and TV for smaller dinners or standing drinks, and the Front Bar takes up to 120 for a cocktail party. The Courtyard can be partly or fully covered with its retractable roof, is heated and has a TV, and fits 36 seated or 60 standing. Food is offered as four canapé packages, a grazing table, and seated menus served either as shared platters or with guests choosing their dishes on the night. Drinks can be a timed package, a bar tab or a cash bar. Minimum spends apply for exclusive use of a space, and the venue is licensed until midnight.
