About Franklin's Bar
Franklin's Bar sits at 646 High Street in Thornbury. It is a neighbourhood cocktail bar with a main bar, a lounge and a beer garden out the back, open seven days. Weekend nights bring vinyl DJs, and the bar is licensed until 3am. Functions are taken for groups of 20 to 130 guests. A semi-private booking, for up to 60 people, reserves areas of the bar while it stays open to the public. Groups above 60 are treated as private functions. Private functions are not run after 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights, because the bar stays open for its regular guests. For a larger weekend booking the doors can open early, so your group gets extra time in a private setting before the public arrives. Weeknights and Sundays are open to larger private bookings. The look is warm and low-lit, with red-toned lighting, booth seating and a courtyard that welcomes dogs. Cocktails and tap beer are the focus of the drinks offer, and pizza is on the menu as well. Smaller groups of fewer than 20 book a table instead of a function. For anything larger, send an enquiry to book, and mention an early start if you want one.

Can we hire the whole bar on a Saturday night?
