About Events on Citrus
Events on Citrus is a private event venue on Citrus Street in Braeside, run by an owner-chef with more than 25 years in food, design and hospitality. It opens by appointment only, and every booking has the venue to itself. There are two spaces, each with a private entrance and its own facilities. The Coastal Suite is a light, intimate room for 10 to 22 guests seated or up to 35 standing, while the Warehouse has an industrial feel, indoor and garden areas, and room for 20 to 60 seated or 75 cocktail-style. Rather than hiring out an empty room, the team designs each event around your theme. Tables are dressed with linen, candles, florals and curated tableware, and staff handle setup, service and pack down. Menus are cooked fresh on site and include signature high teas, two or three-course shared dinners, grazing tables, finger food buffets, live wood-fired pizza and paella. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy needs are planned in advance. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol, and drinks packages are offered for Warehouse events. The venue focuses on adult celebrations such as 40ths, 50ths and 60ths, showers, hens days and business events, and does not host 18ths or 21sts. Send an enquiry to arrange a visit.

Warehouse dinners start at $2,940 for 20 guests (two courses) or $3,340 (three courses), with additional guests at $100. Relaxed hosted gatherings with pizza, grazing or buffet food start at $3,500 for up to 40 guests, and larger groups up to 75 are quoted.
Private workshops for 10 or more start at $800 for pizza making and $950 for a grazing board or cake painting session.
Food
Live cooking can be added, such as wood-fired pizza, paella, a gyros spit, banh mi or a barbecue. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy requirements are catered for.

What does a private dinner cost?
In the Coastal Suite, a two-course dinner starts at $1,500 for 10 guests ($80 for each extra guest) and three courses at $1,700 ($100 each extra). In the Warehouse, two courses start at $2,940 for 20 guests and three courses at $3,340, with extra guests at $100. Dinners include three hours of private use, styling and service staff.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes. BYO alcohol is welcome, and house-made non-alcoholic drinks are included in high tea and dinner packages. Drinks packages are also available for Warehouse events.
Do you host 18th or 21st birthdays?
No. The venue specialises in adult milestone birthdays such as 40ths, 50ths, 60ths and 70ths, along with high teas, showers and private dining.
Can dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes. The kitchen caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests as well as food allergies and intolerances. Dietary needs are discussed during planning so the menu can be prepared with care.
