About Empire Room @ Hotel Brighton
Hotel Brighton is a two-storey local pub at 286 Bay Street in Brighton, with a traditional front bar, a dining room serving pub food, a TAB and a roof deck called the Sky Bar. The pub runs several function areas, and the Empire Room is its main private party space, looked after by a dedicated functions coordinator. The room is styled with velvet details and deep emerald colours, and has its own bar, a fireplace and access to a courtyard. It holds 150 guests for a cocktail party or 40 seated, and there is room to set up a band or DJ. Room hire and staff are included, along with a 55-inch screen, a wireless microphone and a surround sound system you can plug a phone into. The pub notes that there is no lift. Food comes from the pub kitchen. Cocktail packages run from six items at $30 per person to ten items at $48 per person, with substantial canapés, cheese boards, pizzas and oysters available on top, and two- or three-course set menus are $55 and $65 per person. Drinks can be set up as a bar tab with a limit you choose, or as a standard or premium package for groups of 30 or more. You can bring your own celebration cake, and the team will cut it and serve it on platters at no charge.
