About City Bar @ Corner Hotel
The Corner Hotel is a live music pub at 57 Swan Street in Richmond, on the corner of Stewart Street beside the railway bridge and close to Richmond Station. Alongside its bandroom it runs a rooftop bar and several function areas, and the City Bar is the main private room for larger celebrations and work events. The City Bar is a bright space with an atrium roof that lets in plenty of daylight, an exclusive bar for your group and a flexible floor plan. It takes up to 130 guests for a cocktail party or 70 seated. AV is built in, with two 85-inch screens, a wireless microphone and sound that can be zoned, so presentations and speeches are straightforward. For smaller groups the venue also has the Legends Lounge for 30 seated, the Deck on the rooftop for 60 standing and the Front Bar for casual bookings. The venue has wheelchair access from Botherambo Street, a lift to the rooftop and accessible toilets. Food is chosen from the functions pack: canapé packages at three price points, platters, cheese and charcuterie boards, and shared two- or three-course seated menus for 10 or more. Drinks can run as a bar tab with a curated list that can be topped up during the night, a cash bar, or a bespoke package, which is offered for City Bar bookings. Minimum spends apply and vary by date and season. Dietary requirements are confirmed with final numbers 14 days ahead.
