About Cellar Bar @ Grace Darling Hotel
The Grace Darling Hotel is a bluestone pub at 114 Smith Street in Collingwood, known for its live music upstairs and a dining room and bar downstairs. It runs private functions in several spaces, and the Cellar Bar is the only one that is completely private. You reach it down a bluestone stairwell into a dim, candlelit room with exposed mud-brick walls. It works for a seated dinner of up to 30 or a stand-up canapé event of up to 60, and it has a private bar plus a full sound system, so you can connect your own device or book a DJ. AV equipment is provided for speeches or slideshows. If the group outgrows the cellar, the pub also hires out the glass-roofed Atrium and the upstairs Bandroom. Catering comes from the pub kitchen. Canapé menus of four, five or six items run from $22 to $34 per person, a grazing table of cheeses, cured meats, dips and focaccia is $15 per person, and a shared banquet menu is $60 for two courses or $75 for three. Three-hour drinks packages start at $70 per person, or set up a bar tab or let guests buy their own. The minimum spend covers food and drinks and is $2,000 from Sunday to Thursday and $2,500 on Fridays and Saturdays. The pub does not host 18th to 21st birthdays, hens or bucks parties.
