About Party Higher
Party Higher is a DJ and silent disco company based in Moorabbin, running events since 2011. Instead of one loud speaker stack, each guest wears wireless headphones and switches between three music channels, so different ages and tastes can dance side by side and the volume stays at a safe, personal level. Packages include delivery, set-up and pack-down, a light-up headphone stand, lights, lasers and a smoke machine, along with a DJ who reads the crowd and takes requests. Larger birthday packages add staff to look after the headphone stand. Organisers can also start with a regular DJ on speakers and switch to silent disco when it gets late. Silent disco suits homes with close neighbours, parks, museums and other places with noise limits, and the headphones reach up to several hundred metres. For corporate events the format works as an icebreaker or team activity, and Party Higher also runs silent conferencing, silent classes and sensory chill zones. Kids' packages for ages five to twelve come with a trained party facilitator who runs games and dancing. Teen and adult birthday packages: Bronze $1,320 plus GST (25 headphones), Silver $1,705 plus GST (50) and Gold $2,255 plus GST (100), each with a DJ for up to four hours. Events beyond 30 km of the CBD add $1 per kilometre return.

How does a Party Higher silent disco work?
Every guest gets wireless headphones and chooses between three music channels at the flick of a switch. Each person controls their own volume, and taking the headphones off makes conversation easy.
What is included in a birthday package?
The Bronze birthday package covers 25 headphones, three transmitters, a light-up headphone stand, lights, lasers, a smoke machine, delivery, set-up, tech support and a DJ for up to four hours. Silver and Gold packages scale to 50 and 100 headphones.
Can we have a normal DJ as well as silent disco?
Yes. Party Higher DJs can play through speakers earlier in the night and switch to silent disco later, which keeps a home or neighbourhood party going without noise complaints.
Is there a travel charge?
Events more than 30 km from the Melbourne CBD attract a travel fee of $1 per kilometre for the return trip. Closer events have no travel fee.
Does Party Higher do corporate events?
Yes. The team runs silent discos for conferences, expos, team days and staff parties, plus silent conferencing where several presenters can speak in one room at once.
