About Michelle & Dusty Wedding Ceremonies
Michelle & Dusty Wedding Ceremonies is a mother-and-daughter celebrant business working from Weston in the Hunter. Michelle started it after officiating her daughter Dusty's wedding, and the pair have run it together since, marrying couples at everything from quiet backyard elopements to larger vineyard celebrations. Hunter venues they have worked at include Peterson House, Moravia Park and Squires Vineyard, alongside plenty of private properties. Every celebrant package is personalised. The team guides you through the Notice of Intended Marriage, helps with vows, readings and what to include, and writes a ceremony to suit you, whether that is traditional, modern or something different. On the day there is a decorated signing table with two chairs, and you take home your commemorative marriage certificate and a keepsake ceremony book. Most ceremonies last 15 to 25 minutes. A PA system and microphone come with the Gold and Platinum packages, and rituals can be included if you supply the items. Styling is what sets the business apart. As an add-on to the celebrant service, couples spend two hours in the Weston styling suite choosing an arbour, draping, artificial florals, aisle runners, rugs, candles, signage and guest seating. The team sets everything up, clears the site of leaves and trip hazards, and packs it all down afterwards. If you prefer fresh flowers, your florist's pieces can be dropped off the day before and placed with the rest. Smaller plans are covered too. A registry-style legal wedding runs in the outdoor garden at Weston, as a simple desk ceremony or a styled version for up to 20 guests with a pre-written script, bouquet and music. The all-inclusive micro wedding at the same spot adds reception styling, grazing platters, drinks, cake, music and three hours to celebrate. Travel anywhere in the Hunter Valley carries no fee.

How much does Michelle & Dusty Wedding Ceremonies charge?
Celebrant packages for weddings of any size start at $770. A registry-style legal wedding at Weston is $300 and the all-inclusive micro wedding is $2,500. Ceremony styling is a separate package from $1,200.
Is there a travel fee for Hunter Valley venues?
No. The team covers the whole Hunter Valley region with no travel fee, whether the ceremony is at a winery or on a private property. Ceremonies further away can often be arranged and may attract a travel charge.
What comes with the ceremony styling?
A two-hour discovery session in the Weston styling suite, where you choose the arbour, draping, artificial florals, signing table, seating, aisle runners, rugs, candles and welcome signs. The team then sets it up on the day and packs it down.
How do we lock in our date?
A $200 non-refundable booking fee secures the date. The balance can be paid off in instalments and is due two weeks before the wedding. Booking requests can be lodged online with no payment upfront.
Can we meet Michelle and Dusty before booking?
Yes. Free first conversations are offered in person or online, and you can book a visit to the Weston styling suite to see the arbours, draping and décor up close.
