About Married By Adam
Adam Seeney is a full-time marriage celebrant and wedding MC who has married more than 500 couples since starting the business in 2018. A former drama teacher who has been hosting events since his teens, he brings a performer's timing to the ceremony: personal, quick on his feet with guests, and designed so the room actually enjoys it rather than sitting through it. The Hunter is a big part of his calendar. He is a regular at vineyard and estate venues in Pokolbin, Lovedale and Broke and further around the valley. Among his favourites are Circa 1876, Bimbadgen Palmers Lane, Peterson House, Krinklewood Estate, Leaves & Fishes, Adams Peak Country Estate, and both Redleaf and The Woodhouse in Wollombi, plus plenty of private properties. The process starts with a Zoom chat, then each partner fills in a questionnaire and you meet up in person to shape the ceremony and sign the Notice of Intended Marriage. Adam keeps the script to himself so the reactions on the day are genuine, but walks you through exactly how everything will run beforehand, so there is no formal rehearsal needed. He offers a vow writing guide with personal feedback, prints your vows onto cards, brings his own PA and wireless microphone, and lodges the paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages afterwards. For a smaller day there is an elopement option for couples marrying Monday to Thursday with a short guest list. Couples who want the momentum to continue can add his MC service, so the reception is run by someone who already knows your people and your plan.

How much does Married By Adam charge?
Adam does not publish a fixed fee. His price depends on the day of the week, the location and the package, so send your date and venue through his contact form and he will reply with a quote. A 50% booking fee secures the date.
Does Adam travel to Hunter Valley venues?
Yes. He regularly marries couples at vineyards and estates in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Broke and Wollombi, and will travel further afield. Tell him the venue when you enquire and he will advise whether a travel fee applies.
Do we get to read the ceremony script first?
No. Adam keeps the script private so your reactions on the day are real, but everything he says comes from your questionnaires and meetings, and he runs through the order of the ceremony with you in detail beforehand.
Can Adam also be our MC?
Yes. His MC add-on covers announcements, introducing speeches, keeping the timeline on track and optional games such as trivia or the shoe game, until the dance floor opens.
Is there an option for a small, simple wedding?
Yes. The elopement package suits couples who want an intimate ceremony with a small guest list, and is available Monday to Thursday only.
