About Jaya Bargwanna Celebrant
Jaya Bargwanna is a marriage celebrant and wedding MC who marries couples in the Hunter Valley and travels further when a wedding calls for it. After more than 350 weddings, her style is warm, inclusive and authentic with a cheeky streak, and she sees the ceremony as the moment that sets the mood for the whole day rather than a legal box to tick before the party. Writing the ceremony is a shared process. It starts with an informal meeting over coffee, a walk or a video call to see if you click. Jaya then sends both of you lighthearted questionnaires and blends your answers and her own observations into a story told like a romantic comedy, with the two of you as the leads. Vow writing support includes a guide and a brainstorming session, and the finished vows are printed on keepsake cards. Every ceremony comes with a Bose S1 Pro speaker and Sennheiser cordless microphone, so guests hear clearly and videographers get good audio. The legal paperwork is handled, and the official marriage certificate from NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages is paid for and posted to you. Afterwards, couples receive notes on changing their name and a copy of the ceremony. Jaya also works as a reception MC, helping with the run sheet before the wedding and keeping speeches, games, cake and music cues on track on the night. Packages range from the full Martini ceremony to a short-and-sweet option, an elopement for fewer than 20 guests and a legal-only ceremony.

What packages does Jaya Bargwanna offer?
The full Martini ceremony, the shorter Sidecar ceremony of about 10 to 15 minutes, the G&T elopement for fewer than 20 guests, a legal-only ceremony, and the Gin Sling reception MC service.
Is a PA system included?
Yes. A Bose S1 Pro speaker and Sennheiser cordless mic come with all full ceremonies, and they can play music too. The legal-only ceremony does not include PA hire.
Can Jaya Bargwanna MC our wedding reception?
Yes. As MC she meets you beforehand to build the run sheet, then on the night handles introductions, games and cake, liaises with your vendors and keeps speeches and music cues ready.
Does Jaya help with writing our vows?
Yes. You get a vow guide and a brainstorming session covering length, style and structure. Once you have written them, Jaya compares them, adds the legal wording and prints them on keepsake cards.
Is the marriage certificate included?
Yes. The full ceremony packages include organising the official certificate with NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages, paid for and delivered to your door.
