About Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast
Mercure Kooindah Waters is a golf and spa resort on Kooindah Boulevard in Wyong, built around the 18-hole Kooindah Waters course and the wetlands beside it. Hotel rooms, apartments, pools, a day spa and Karinyas Restaurant and Wine Bar all sit on the same grounds. The events side has five spaces. The Kooindah Ballroom takes up to 400 guests, and it splits into Kooindah 1 and Kooindah 3 for up to 150 each and Kooindah 2 for around 50, plus two boardrooms for 12. The function rooms take plenty of natural light, and an outdoor terrace runs alongside for pre-dinner drinks and photos over the golf course. Weddings can start with a ceremony on the lawns by the lake before guests move indoors for the reception. Catering is done in-house, with canapés, grazing tables and plated menus built around the event. Drinks run as packages, and the resort can arrange styling, theming and audiovisual equipment with technical support on the day. The celebrations offer covers milestone birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, baby and bridal showers and reunions. School formals for Year 6, 10 and 12 get exclusive use of the ballroom and terrace, and corporate groups can add team-building activities. Because guests can book rooms on site, it suits a party where people want to stay the night rather than drive home. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers and the events team will put a proposal together.
