About The Savoy Bar and Music
The Savoy Bar and Music occupies a restored, heritage-listed cinema at 2/391 The Entrance Road in Long Jetty. It runs as a neighbourhood bar, kitchen and live music room, with bands, DJs, trivia and open mic nights through the week, and it is also set up as an event space you can hire for your own celebration. The venue fits up to 170 people, in seated or cocktail layouts. You can take private hire of the upstairs theatre space, or book part of the venue across the bar area and theatre for a smaller group. Inside there are intimate booths, a well-stocked cocktail bar, a live music stage and moody lighting, plus an in-house sound system and lights, a projector and screen for speeches or slideshows, and air conditioning. Because it is a working music venue, the team can line up local bands or a DJ for you. Access is by a flight of stairs at the entrance, with the bathrooms up a further half-flight and no lift, so mention any access needs when you enquire. Food and drink are arranged as packages built around your event: share platters and antipasto, canape selections and a custom cocktail list, with beverage packages of local wines, beers and craft spirits on request. The kitchen offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The venue hosts weddings and engagements, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, corporate functions and Christmas parties, as well as wakes.
