About Diggers The Entrance
Diggers The Entrance is a community club on The Entrance Road in Long Jetty, a short way from The Entrance town centre and looking across Tuggerah Lake. Its origins go back to a group of returned servicemen in 1947, and it now runs a restaurant, a cafe, three bars and a sports bar. Functions are held in the Pavillion Events Centre, a 275-square-metre room with lake views through its windows. The club lists it for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, school formals, celebrations of life and corporate events. For parties, the room seats 120 at banquet tables with a dance floor in place, or 150 without one. Trestle layouts take 156 with a dance floor and 200 without, and a cocktail-style party can hold up to 200 guests. A wedding setup with a bridal table and dance floor suits about 100. Celebration bookings come with table linen in black or white, napkins, cutlery and crockery, a portable stage and dance floor, two roving microphones and a projector and screen for your own laptop. You can plug in your own device for music, and the room has its own private bar with staff. Corporate hire covers the same room in banquet, cabaret, theatre, trestle or U-shape layouts, with a whiteboard, flipchart, wifi and Bluetooth, and iced water through the day. Theatre seating takes up to 200. The club offers set packages for weddings, parties, corporate days, formals and life celebrations, and its events coordinator works with you from the first enquiry through to the night itself.
