The Olive Grove is the events arm of The Quarters, a boutique resort precinct at 960 The Entrance Road, Forresters Beach. The precinct also holds a café, bar and restaurant, a salon, a florist and 23 guest rooms, so the whole occasion, including somewhere to sleep, can be arranged in one place. There are two rooms to choose between. The Grand Ballroom is the bigger one, styled with a Hamptons look and a nod to the Gatsby era; it seats around 150 at banquet tables and can be arranged for groups from 50 up to about 200, with more than 150 in a cocktail layout. Bookings run seven days, by the half day or full day. The Captain's Table is the smaller private room, with its own bar, dimmable palm-tree lighting, Wi-Fi and AV, and it takes 10 to 50 seated or 70 for canapés. It can be booked for daytime events every day and into the evening from Sunday to Tuesday. A courtyard links the rooms, so guests can drift between inside and out. Catering is handled in-house. Canapé packages start at $35 per person for four selections, set menus run two or three courses with alternate service, and there are high tea packages and grazing, sandwich and sweet platters. Drinks can be paid for by guests at the bar, run as a hosted tab, or covered by a four-hour beverage package. Room hire includes tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware, and TV, speaker and microphone hire is available for speeches and slideshows. The events team can also arrange DJs, live music and styling on request.
