About Swells Terrigal
Swells sits on the corner of Terrigal Beach at 1/112 Terrigal Esplanade, a bright, glass-fronted restaurant where most tables look out over the sand and the ocean. The kitchen cooks modern Australian food with a strong seafood bent, and the room trades for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, so groups get the full restaurant team behind them. There are a few ways to use the space. Seated groups of 10 to 80 can book long tables along the balcony windows from Wednesday to Sunday. For a stand-up party, the restaurant runs canapé, grazing and buffet functions for 40 to 120 guests, and the whole venue can be booked exclusively for that same range of numbers. At the small end, the Glass Room is an enclosed room on the balcony that seats 10 and opens onto its own sun deck, which can be added for a standing or seated gathering. Florals, styling and a DJ can be arranged with the team, and there is room to dance at an evening event. Groups of 10 or more eat from a set menu. The Group Banquet is a share-style feast of bread and dips plus two savoury courses, with a glass of sparkling on arrival, for $87 per person or $99 with a chef's dessert course. The Premium Group Menu offers plated entrées and mains at $97 per person for two courses or $107 for three; larger groups of 24 to 75 pick two dishes per course to be served alternately. Exclusive hire is priced on a minimum spend, quoted per event. Swells does not host weddings.
