About Amarilla
Amarilla is a Spanish-inspired restaurant at 2a The Haven, Terrigal, beside the boat ramp at the calmer south end of the Haven. It sits right at the water's edge, looking across the harbour mouth to the open ocean, and the menu is built around tapas, larger share plates, Spanish wines, sangria and cocktails. There is free parking directly outside, ramp entry and accessible amenities. The venue has two areas: an indoor dining room with coastal timber finishes and a covered deck over the water. In everyday trade they seat around 40 inside and 30 on the deck. For private events you can take the dining room or the deck on its own, or book the whole restaurant exclusively, which holds 70 for a seated meal or 120 for a cocktail-style event. The team says it is best suited to sit-down dinners and stand-up parties rather than big dance nights, and it hosts birthdays, anniversaries, baby and bridal showers, Christmas parties, team celebrations and wedding receptions, with ceremonies held at nearby beachside spots. Event menus run from a roaming or seated tapas package of six items at $75 per person to an eight-item version with scallops at $105, plus three-course menus at $85 and $105 per person. Drinks packages of beer, wine, soft drinks and sangria cost $85 for two hours, $120 for three and $155 for four, or you can set an open bar tab. Exclusive use carries a minimum spend that starts at $5,000 and rises to $15,000 for a Saturday dinner. A dedicated coordinator handles planning, and gluten-free dishes and halal meat are standard.
