About Coral Grill & Seafood
Coral Grill & Seafood is a steak and seafood restaurant upstairs at 78 Terrigal Esplanade, close to the beach and looking out over the seafront. The kitchen works with seasonal produce, fresh seafood and premium grilled cuts, and the bar mixes cocktails alongside a broad wine list. It opens for dinner from Tuesday, adds lunch from Friday to Sunday, and is closed on Mondays. For celebrations the dining room seats up to 65 guests, and for bigger parties the restaurant offers exclusive hire, which is the option to choose if you want speeches, games or the room to yourselves. Groups of 15 or more who choose three courses can also arrange a private sitting outside normal trading hours. The room suits office parties, engagement dinners, bridal showers and milestone birthdays, and table decorations and balloons are welcome, as long as nothing glittery or tiny is used and everything goes home with you. Groups of nine or more order from a set menu, priced at $70 for two courses or $87 for three per person, with choices such as rock oysters, kingfish crudo, prawn linguine, barramundi and chocolate fondant; the wagyu rump main adds $10. Bookings of 15 or more are served alternate drop, dietary requirements are catered for, and the head chef can tailor a menu on request. The bar is fully licensed and BYO is not allowed. A $6 cake service covers candles, cutting and plating with ice cream. Final numbers and menu choices are due seven days ahead, and ten days' notice is needed to cancel without losing the holding fee.

A $30 per person holding fee secures the table. It is not charged unless you cancel with less than ten days' notice.
How long do we have the table?
Group bookings run for 2 hours 15 minutes, with set lunch and evening sitting times in peak periods. The team will extend your time where they can, and times are more flexible in the quieter season.
