About Kangy Gardens
Kangy Gardens is a family-owned garden venue on Preston Road in Kangy Angy, set on two and a half acres of private, rustic gardens. It is best known for weddings and elopements, but the owners also host birthdays, anniversaries, corporate days, baby showers and other private celebrations, along with their own live music afternoons on the lawns. The property is a collection of spaces. The Gallery is a sandstone building with large timber doors that seats up to 80 for dinner. The Jardin Chapel is a small ceremony building in the gardens, and The Heart is a lit sculpture that makes a favourite photo spot. A permanent marquee covers bigger parties, the open grounds can take a marquee or garden reception, and the Bellbird Bar serves cocktails, beer and spirits. A canapé-style event can hold up to 110 guests, and a wedding booking includes the whole property. Accommodation on site sleeps eight. Catering comes from the venue's preferred caterer, offering canapés, shared platters and grazing tables, and the on-site wood-fired oven can turn out pizzas. Outside caterers can be approved for an added fee. The venue is licensed, so guests choose drinks from the venue's list. You can style the spaces yourself, hire pieces from the on-site styling store or have the team do it. Dogs are welcome at events, though not in the accommodation, and staff direct guests needing accessible parking.

How many guests can Kangy Gardens hold?
A seated dinner in the Gallery building takes up to 80 guests, and a canapé-style reception can host up to 110. Elopement packages cover up to 30 guests for two hours, Monday to Thursday.
Can we hold a birthday or corporate event, not just a wedding?
Yes. The venue hosts birthdays from garden parties to dinners in the Gallery or parties in the marquee, as well as corporate days, anniversaries, baby showers and celebrations of life.
What catering is available?
The preferred caterer offers canapés, shared platters and grazing tables, and pizzas can be cooked in the on-site wood-fired oven. Outside caterers need approval and may attract a surcharge.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, pets are welcome at the venue. They aren't permitted inside the on-site accommodation.
Can we visit before booking?
Yes. The owners offer a free one-hour walkthrough of the grounds, which can be booked through the website, and package details are sent on request.
