About Gosford Sailing Club
Gosford Sailing Club has been part of the local waterfront since 1932, and its clubhouse on Masons Parade in Gosford looks straight out over Brisbane Water and the club's own marina. Alongside sailing, it runs a bistro, a casual boatshed bar and a busy functions calendar covering birthdays, anniversaries, corporate days and weddings. There are several ways to carve up the building. The Terrace, with an outdoor balcony, takes 30 to 60 seated or 80 standing; the Southview room suits casual groups of 30 to 50; and joining the two gives room for 80 seated or 100 standing. The Bistro Dining Room, looking over the marina, seats 80 for a formal dinner. The Sailor's Bar and Deck is the largest single area, with 80 seated or 150 standing on a deck at the water's edge that opens through glass doors to the bar inside. Book the whole club and it holds 150 seated or 200 standing. Hire is in four-hour blocks. The kitchen covers canapé selections, buffets with a choice of three mains and two sides, and two or three course set menus served alternate drop. Drinks packages run for four hours with a minimum of 30 guests, and bar tabs can be set up instead. The club supplies a TV on a stand, a microphone, a Bluetooth speaker and a whiteboard free of charge, and there's a lift and accessible bathrooms. Ceremonies can be held on the deck before the reception moves inside.

What do function menus cost?
A selection of five canapés is $45 per person, a buffet of three mains and two sides is $50 per person, and set menus are $69 for two courses or $79 for three. Room hire is quoted by the functions team.
Are drinks packages available?
Yes. The Signature package is $49 per person and the Premier package $69 per person, each for four hours with a minimum of 30 guests. Packages aren't offered for 18th or 21st birthdays.
Is AV equipment included?
Yes, at no extra cost: a portable TV, a microphone, a Bluetooth speaker and a whiteboard are available.
Can we hold our wedding ceremony there too?
Yes. Couples can say their vows on the deck above Brisbane Water and then move into the reception space.
