About Bay Road Brewing
Bay Road Brewing makes its beer and pours it at 89 Donnison Street in Gosford, started by a group of mates who wanted a local place built around craft beer and good company. The beer is made on site in a 12-hectolitre brewhouse with around 20,000 litres of tank space, and guests can watch the brewers at work from the bar. The taproom is bright and open, with white walls, big murals, timber tables and plenty of natural light, and it opens onto a beer garden out the front. For private events the whole venue can be booked exclusively. Around 70 people fit at tables, while a standing party can reach 100, which suits birthdays, wedding celebrations, corporate get-togethers and other milestones where you want the room to yourselves. There are 19 craft beers on tap, ranging from a crisp lager to hoppy IPAs, alongside fruity cocktails, a selection of wines and alcohol-free options. Food comes from Truck89, the gourmet food truck at the brewery, which serves tacos, loaded fries and rotating specials such as a lobster and prawn roll. The venue is family friendly and welcomes dogs, so mixed-age gatherings work too.
