About Eden Yarra Valley
Eden Yarra Valley is a gated country estate on Steels Creek Road, on the edge of Yarra Glen. It sits in two acres of English-style gardens – lawns, ornamental fish ponds, rose beds and wisteria arbours – closed in by tall hedges, so a group has the whole property to itself. Events here are sized for groups of up to 30 guests. Every function is approved by application and priced on request, with function fees quoted separately from the property tariff. The main event room is Potter's Gallery, a private dining room with timber-lined walls, hanging greenery and long tables that suit a seated dinner, a cocktail evening or a corporate meeting. Elsewhere, the house dining tables seat 22 and the undercover deck seats up to 28. The guest bar has its own tables, stools and a commercial drinks fridge, and it opens onto the deck, which has a second bar outside. A recreation room with a pool table, foosball and an arcade machine keeps the party going, and the solar-heated pool can be used until 10pm. Eden works with several caterers who know the estate, covering formal dinners, barbecues, carvery banquets, cocktail canapés and breakfasts, and can help arrange drinks packages and bar staff. Tables, chairs, buffet tables, linen, crockery and drink tubs are available to hire, so an event can be fully serviced or run as a DIY affair. Micro weddings for up to 30 guests can be arranged by special request, with ceremony spots in the garden or indoors. Extras such as private wine or gin tastings, cocktail workshops, high teas and a formal dinner set-up can be quoted for your group.

How many guests can Eden Yarra Valley host for a function?
Up to 30 guests, children included. The estate runs off-grid on tank water and septic systems, so most bookings are capped at that number and any extra visitors need written approval.
Is there a set price for functions?
No prices are published. Each function is by application and quoted individually, with function fees charged on top of the property tariff, and Potter's Gallery hire carries its own fee. Send an enquiry with your dates and numbers for a quote.
Can we use our own caterer or run a DIY event?
Yes. The estate suits DIY events as well as formal ones with caterers and bar staff, and Eden can recommend caterers who already know the property. Let management know in advance about any caterers, entertainers or wedding suppliers you plan to bring on site.
Can we hold a micro wedding at Eden?
Yes, by special request, for up to 30 guests, with a garden or indoor ceremony location. Suppliers such as photographers, florists, stylists and hair and make-up artists can attend with prior permission when the pre-wedding package is chosen.
Is the estate wheelchair accessible?
The estate is not designed or marketed for wheelchair access, although groups that included wheelchair users have stayed without trouble. There are three steps into the main house and the games room, and handrails wherever there are steps.
