About World Square Bar
World Square Bar is a modern sports and cocktail bar inside the World Square shopping centre at 644 George Street, at the southern end of the Sydney CBD. It trades from 10am every day and runs late, until 3am from Thursday to Saturday. Pool tables and large TV screens set the tone, there is live music on the calendar, and a Thai kitchen run by Abb Air serves from midday. Functions come in three sizes. Groups of up to 20 can book tables in the main bar. The function area can be closed off for private use and holds about 150 people standing or 50 seated, with styling, playlists and food and drink packages arranged to suit. For the biggest nights the whole venue can be hired, taking up to 200 standing across several entertainment zones. DJs, live music, a photographer and balloon garlands can be added with at least a month's notice. Drinks packages run for two, three or four hours across three tiers. Silver starts at $45 per person for two hours with tap beer, bottled cider, house wines and soft drinks, Gold adds more beers and starts at $50, and Platinum adds house spirits from $70. A prepaid bar tab or pay-as-you-go also works. Food is ordered by the platter, from antipasti for ten to sliders, tacos, wings and nachos, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Can we bring our own cake or food?
Outside food and drinks aren't allowed because the bar is licensed, but a celebration cake is fine.
Can under-18s attend?
No. The licence doesn't allow minors in the venue, even with a parent or guardian, so this suits adult celebrations only.
