About Visy Dior
Visy Dior is a 132-room hotel at 1 Columbia Court in Norwest, in Sydney's Hills District, with ten event spaces, landscaped gardens, a pool and its own Italian restaurant, Elena's Ristorante. Norwest Metro station is roughly a 15-minute walk away, and on-site parking is available for a daily fee. The main function room is the Giorgia Grand Ballroom, a 297 square metre space with chandeliers, neutral interiors ready for styling, and a pre-function lounge with its own private bar. It holds 350 for cocktails, 300 theatre style and around 250 at banquet tables, and comes with a dance floor, DJ service and audiovisual equipment. It divides into smaller rooms such as the Sofia Lounge and San Antonio for 80 each, while the Giorgia Ballroom takes 220, the Sofia Ballroom 160 and the Giorgia Lounge 140. Smaller parties can use the Magnolia and Gardenia rooms for 60 or the Orange Blossom Room for 30, and a garden terrace with a gazebo suits outdoor drinks and ceremonies. Catering is designed with the hotel's chefs, with bespoke menus for weddings, birthdays, christenings, baby and bridal showers and corporate dinners. Five themed all-inclusive packages, covering Lebanese, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean and Chinese celebrations, start from $129 per person for 20 to 330 or more guests. Each runs 5.5 hours and includes a buffet or banquet, an MC or DJ, live entertainment and a four-hour drinks package. School formal packages include a red carpet arrival, mocktails, a two or three-course meal and a DJ.
