About The Richmond Inn
The Richmond Inn sits on March Street in Richmond, a pub site with a long history that was rebuilt in the 1970s and has since been reworked into a casual local with a bistro, public bar, arcade room and king studio rooms upstairs for guests who want to stay. It is known locally for its beer garden, the largest in the area, and it has an onsite functions manager. The Beer Garden is the big party space, taking 130 seated or 300 standing among picnic tables and high tables, with heaters, umbrellas and water misters and a choice of smoking or non-smoking areas. Exclusive bookings get a private bar and can play their own music, or you can reserve one of the outdoor courtyards on its own. The Homestead is a covered outdoor room under a glass atrium roof with fans and heaters, mixing high and low seating for 80 seated or 100 standing. For smaller groups, The Lookout seats 20 (40 standing) and joins the bistro for up to 60, and The Naughty Corner is an indoor nook for 15. Catering is ordered from the functions pack. Platters come in 25-piece lots, from squid and sausage rolls to skewers, sliders, quiches and sandwiches, alongside charcuterie and dessert boards for 25 and metre-long pizza boards. Orders and payment are due seven days before the event, and dietary needs are handled with the functions manager. Drinks run on a bar tab arranged ahead of time, either with a dollar limit and a chosen drinks list or as an open tab for the event.
