About Little Jack Horner
Little Jack Horner is a bar and restaurant on the corner at 270-274 Coogee Bay Road, right across from Coogee Beach, with clear views of the sand, the water and Wedding Cake Island. The idea behind it is a traveller's beach bar: timber, tiles and furniture brought in from overseas, windows that fold open to the sea breeze, and a menu of dishes and drinks picked up on trips around the world. The team takes events of every size, from office functions and christenings to birthdays, weddings, Christmas parties, hens days and bucks nights. Tables for up to 20 can be booked online, while groups larger than that go through an event enquiry, and the team then sends through its function packages and helps organise the details. Seating runs through a bright indoor dining room and bar and out to tables along the footpath facing the beach. Music is a big part of the place. Live acts play every weekend from Friday to Sunday night, with party songs and sing-alongs that keep people dining late. The kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper seven days, and the bar pours a wide range of wines and cocktails.
