About Garfish Manly

Garfish Manly is a seafood restaurant at 1/39 East Esplanade, across the road from Manly Cove and the moored boats beyond the Norfolk pines. It opens for lunch and dinner from Tuesday, and its events team takes bookings for groups from a dozen guests up to a full takeover of the room. Groups have three main options. Semi-private areas hold up to 16 at a dedicated table while the restaurant keeps going around them, a good fit for a birthday lunch. The Private Dining Room seats up to 35 for a sit-down dinner, an engagement meal or a work gathering, with its own set menu and wine selection. For the largest events the whole restaurant can be booked exclusively for up to 100 guests, either cocktail-style or seated, from welcome drinks through to dessert. Tall windows run along the water side, so much of the room shares the view. The kitchen works mainly with Australian and New Zealand seafood: oysters, grilled prawns and bugs, market fish and shared platters, with steak for those who want it. Groups of 12 or more are given a set menu built with the events team, and canapes can replace a seated meal for standing events.
