About Elvina
Elvina is a coastal Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar on level one at 50 Old Barrenjoey Road, in the middle of Avalon Village. It serves seasonal sharing plates and a broad wine list from Wednesday to Sunday, and it hosts weddings, birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, corporate lunches and end-of-year parties. The venue is split into five areas, each with published numbers. The Dining Room inside seats 25 or holds 30 standing. The Terrace is covered, with 30 seated or 50 standing, and is the biggest single space. The Bar area takes 20 seated or 25 standing, the Private Dining Room at the back seats 20 or stands 25, and the open-air Garden behind the building takes 20 seated or 30 standing. Areas can be mixed and matched, and the whole venue can be booked for a larger event. For standing events there are two canape packages, at $40 per person for four small and two large pieces, or $55 per person for five small and three large. Individual canapes, sweet canapes, a grazing platter for eight, and hosted oyster or sashimi stations can be added. Sit-down groups can choose from set menus, and drinks packages run for two or three hours. The events team sends a function pack with capacities and sample menus on request, and tailors food, drinks and styling to each booking. A 10% service charge applies to groups of 10 or more.

How many people can Elvina hold?
The Terrace is the largest single area at 30 seated or 50 standing. The Dining Room takes 25 seated or 30 standing, the Garden 20 seated or 30 standing, and the Bar and the Private Dining Room each 20 seated or 25 standing. Areas can be combined or the whole venue booked.
What do canape packages cost?
There are two packages: $40 per person for four small and two large canapes, and $55 per person for five small and three large. Extra small canapes are $6 each and large ones $12 each.
Are there drinks packages?
Yes. Bubbles, wine, beer and spritz cost $55 per person for two hours or $75 for three. A version adding classic cocktails, premium wine and spirits is $85 per person for two hours or $120 for three.
Can we add food stations?
An oyster station and a sashimi station with tuna and kingfish are available at $15 per person per hour of unlimited service, and a grazing platter serving eight costs $220.
Are there extra charges for groups?
A 10% service charge applies to groups of 10 or more, and a 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays.
