About Drummoyne Sailing Club
Drummoyne Sailing Club sits at 2 St Georges Crescent, Drummoyne, right on the shoreline of the upper harbour. Founded in 1913 and still home to skiff, yacht and junior sailing, the clubhouse also runs a bistro called Sailor's Grill, an Italian restaurant upstairs named Ecco Ristorante and bars pouring more than fifteen beers on tap. From its windows and deck the outlook sweeps around 180 degrees, from Birchgrove across to Hunters Hill, with Cockatoo, Spectacle and Snapper Islands in view. The main party room is the Sailors' Lounge, an enclosed space with glass on the harbour side, full air conditioning and a bar of its own. It opens straight onto an outdoor deck in the sun and fits up to 150 people for a standing cocktail event. For smaller groups the club also offers the Beach View semi-private lounge, a private dining room, the Cockatoo semi-private balcony and a boardroom for work meetings, and the website links each space to a 3D walk-through so you can look around before visiting. Food and drinks come from the club itself, and a dedicated functions and events manager looks after planning. Social functions cover birthdays, weddings and other celebrations, while corporate bookings and celebration-of-life gatherings each have their own page and information pack. Prices are not listed online; request the social or corporate information pack from the functions page and it is emailed straight to you, or call the club to talk dates and numbers.
