About Club 9
Club 9 is a cue sports club and sports bar on Level 1 of 9 George Street, inside the Bakehouse Quarter at North Strathfield. It is mainly a members' club, but it runs an open-door policy: anyone can walk in, and you don't need a membership to book an event. North Strathfield Station is a few minutes away on foot, and the precinct car park gives the first hour and a half free. The floor is built around the games. There are 34 pool tables, including 9ft Diamond tables and English pool tables, 8 dart boards with steel and soft (electronic) tip options, 2 championship Shufl boards and arcade machines, plus a large projector screen and around 40 TVs for the footy. Small groups can book a two-hour session of free play, mid-sized groups can have staff run a knockout or doubles tournament, and events from 50 to 400 guests can take an exclusive area or the entire venue with rotating tournaments across every game. Food comes from the in-house kitchen. Canapé selections run from four to eight pieces, boxed meals and dessert add-ons are available, and there are grill and BBQ spreads plus a bottomless pizza and pool option. Drinks can be a two or three hour beverage package or ordered on consumption, and outside food and drink aren't allowed. Add-ons include an MC, a DJ for larger events, a pro player or coach, a photographer and prizes. The events team prepares a proposal, a deposit locks in the date and final numbers are due 48 hours ahead.

Do we need to be Club 9 members to book a party?
No. Club 9 is primarily a members' club but runs an open house policy, so guests and visitors are welcome. Everyone simply checks in at the front desk when they arrive.
How many people can Club 9 host?
Social packages start from four people. The group and custom format suits 50 to 400 guests and can include an exclusive space or hire of the whole venue.
What do the event packages cost?
The social package is $20 per person for two hours of free play with a minimum of four people. The social premium package, with a custom tournament across pool, darts or Shufl boards, is $35 per person for a minimum of 12. Larger events are quoted to suit.
What food and drink options are there?
Canapés are $20 for four pieces, $28 for six and $36 for eight per person. BBQ packages run from $35 to $50 per person, and pizza and pool starts at $35 per person for two hours. Beverage packages start at $35 per person for two hours, or drinks can be bought on consumption.
Can under-18s come to an event?
Under-18s are welcome before 6pm, must be supervised by an adult from 6pm to 9pm, and are not permitted in the venue after 9pm.
