About Aurelia House
Aurelia House is a purpose-built function centre on Lukis Avenue in Richmond, within easy driving distance of Windsor, Schofields and Marsden Park. It runs only private events, among them milestone birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, baby showers, corporate dinners and end-of-year parties, plus weddings and cultural celebrations, and visits are by appointment. The main room is set with round tables, gold-framed chairs and chandeliers, with a stage and screens at one end and a dance floor for the later part of the night. Layouts are flexible, and the venue says it comfortably handles 30 to 200 guests, with the banquet hall seating up to 300 for the largest events. Screens, microphones and a sound system come with most packages, along with a DJ booth and lighting, free Wi-Fi and basic tech support. There is ample free parking and the building is fully wheelchair accessible. Food and drink are arranged with the events team, who work with a group of local caterers on menus that run from Indian and Asian to Mediterranean, and outside caterers can be brought in with approval. A licensed bar service is available.
