Arms Length is a wine bar and event space on Kellett Street in Potts Point, on the Kings Cross side of the suburb. It occupies a characterful terrace house, so instead of one big room you get a series of smaller ones, each with its own feel, plus a courtyard at the back lit with fairy lights. The kitchen sends out share plates and pasta alongside a wine list of local and imported bottles and seasonal cocktails. The Front Room is the house's living room and seats 16 to 22 for a set menu dinner, with the house sound system on hand for speeches and music. The Cocktail Bar Room, further inside, seats 14 to 18 and feels more tucked away. The Outdoor Patio sits around a fig tree and seats 12 to 16, and can be joined to the Front Room for an indoor-outdoor party. For bigger celebrations, private hire of the whole house takes up to 80 people at a cocktail event, with room for a DJ, speeches and dancing, and you can bring your own playlist. Catering options include canapés, sharing feasts and set menus. The two chef's selection set menus are $65 and $85 per person, with an optional four-glass wine match for $40 more, and beverage packages cover wine, beer and cocktails. The bar trades until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, and midweek lunches can be arranged for private parties. Enquiries go through the events form or the reservations team.
