About Annata
Annata sits at 66 Chandos Street in St Leonards, about seven minutes on foot from the St Leonards and Crows Nest stations, and parking is available. It is a modern European restaurant where wine sits at the centre of the experience: owner and head sommelier John Bligh looks after a list of more than 200 wines, and executive chef Jordon Garcia cooks to the seasons. For private events there are two ways to book. The private dining room seats around 45 guests (the events page also quotes 40), and the whole restaurant can be reserved for up to 85 (quoted elsewhere as 80). The dining room is a warm, softly lit space with white-clothed tables, a bar lined with bottles and a glass-fronted wine wall, and it suits seated dinners more than stand-up parties. The venue lists weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dinners, and wine or product launches among the events it hosts. Every event menu is put together by Chef Garcia for your group, and the sommelier recommends wines to go with it. The kitchen caters for dietary requirements if you mention them when you enquire, and there are vegan and vegetarian menus as well as a kids menu for family occasions. The restaurant normally serves dinner from Tuesday to Saturday and lunch on Friday and Saturday, but group events can be arranged at other times. Send the events form with your date, numbers and any dietary needs, and the team replies within a business day.
