About ALEX&Co.
ALEX&Co. is a restaurant and cocktail bar at 330 Church Street, Parramatta, on the riverside stretch of the street. Day to day it serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, with indoor and outdoor seating, and its events team books everything from a private dinner for ten to a takeover of the whole venue. There are several ways to use the space. At the back of the restaurant, three curtained dining sections each seat up to 14, or they combine into one room for 46, with a television, HDMI input and background music. The Bar Lounge holds 38 seated or up to 120 standing and can be partly screened off or booked on its own; for a larger seated event it can take in the Riverside area (24), the bar booths and nearby tables (48) and another 16 bistro seats. Groups of 10 to 20 can also sit together at joined tables in the main dining room. For large events, the whole place (restaurant, bar and event areas) can be hired on an exclusive basis for up to 300 seated or 400 standing. Food can run as canapés, a shared banquet, an alternate-drop meal, plated set courses, or dishes chosen ahead from the à la carte menu, and dietary needs are handled with notice. The Bar Lounge has a DJ booth, sound system and room to dance, with a resident DJ on Friday and Saturday nights and DJs on other nights for an extra fee. Microphones and screens are available in selected spaces, outside stylists and entertainers can be brought in with approval, and a smart casual dress code applies.

Is there a minimum spend or a room hire fee?
It depends on the space, the date, the time and how many guests are coming. Send an enquiry with your plans and the events team will quote an option to match.
Can we have a DJ and dancing?
Yes. The Bar Lounge has a DJ booth, a sound system and space to dance. A resident DJ plays on Friday and Saturday nights, and a DJ can be arranged on other nights for an additional fee.
Are microphones and screens available for speeches?
Microphones, televisions and HDMI connections are available in selected spaces, including the combined private dining room. Extra AV can be organised through the events team.
How do we lock in a date?
An enquiry alone does not hold the date. The booking is confirmed once availability is checked, the booking terms are accepted and the deposit is paid.
