About Story & Moments Photo Booth
Story & Moments Photo Booth is a Sydney photo booth and DJ business run by Helen, who has spent more than 25 years in corporate events, project delivery and change roles and has played for two decades as DJ Jazzy Kappa. Working out of Illawong in the Sutherland Shire, she brings a run-sheet mindset to each booking, planning the booth around speeches, key moments and the way guests move through a room. The event gallery takes in a wedding at the Shangri-La, a 90s-themed 40th and an elegant 80th, along with school discos, formals and teen birthdays. The booths are open air rather than enclosed, built around a DSLR camera and studio lighting with an iPad screen for guests, so bigger groups fit into one frame. Every package comes with unlimited sessions, a single custom strip design carrying your names, logo or theme, instant emailing, themed props and your pick of backdrop, and afterwards you receive every photo and strip through a download link. The backdrop range runs past 25 options, from black and white walls and rose gold shimmer to gold sequin curtains, a disco ball, Great Gatsby, gothic Halloween and a floral rose wall. The Digital Essentials package leaves out printing to keep the cost down, while the Classic Retro package adds unlimited printed strips and an attendant. Bundles combine a booth with a three or four hour DJ set, a PA system and a music planning call, though these are not offered for Saturday night events. Packages are priced for Sydney Metro, with a travel fee for events further out such as Wollongong, the Southern Highlands and the Central Coast.

Yes. Helen performs as DJ Jazzy Kappa, and bundles pair the booth with a three-hour DJ set for $897 (digital only) or a four-hour set for $1,197 (with prints). The bundles are not available on Saturday evenings, when a custom quote applies.
Which areas do they travel to?
Packages are priced for Sydney Metro, from the CBD and Inner West to the Hills District, Northern Beaches, St George and the Sutherland Shire. Events in Wollongong, the Southern Highlands or the Central Coast can be booked with a travel fee added.
How much time and space does set-up need?
Allow 60 to 90 minutes before guests arrive for the bump-in. The open-air booth has no enclosed cabinet, so it suits homes, bars, pubs, rooftops and function rooms, and it fits larger groups in each shot.
