About Booth Me Up
Booth Me Up is a photo booth hire business based in Killarney Heights on Sydney's Northern Beaches. It grew out of a personal hobby, and once the owners saw how much fun guests had in front of the camera they started hiring the booth out. Their booth is compact and portable but open rather than enclosed, so a whole group can squeeze into the frame, and it has turned up at a kindergarten graduation, the Killarney Heights French Market, a World Music Day celebration at the local public school and a Love Boat themed gala at the Australian National Maritime Museum. Every package uses a professional DSLR camera with studio lighting, runs for three hours with extra hours at $100 each, and sends unlimited photos to guests' phones by QR code, along with a digital gallery. The Self-Serve package is the budget option: you collect the booth, set it up and bring it back, and a classic backdrop costs $29 extra. The Bliss package adds delivery, set-up and removal, a personalised welcome screen, a classic backdrop and a deluxe prop box, while the Extravaganza package brings an attendant for the whole event, themed props and a custom microsite. Unlimited printing in 4x6 or 2x6 format is an add-on for $165, with a larger 8x6 print size, a guest book and a personalised photobook delivered two weeks after the event also on offer. Digital sharing relies on a reliable internet connection, which a mobile hotspot usually covers, and the venue needs space and power for the booth. The balance is due 14 days before the event.

What is the cheapest photo booth package?
The Self-Serve package is $489 for three hours. It includes the DSLR camera with studio lighting, a digital gallery and unlimited QR-code sharing, but you transport, set up and return the booth yourself.
Which package includes delivery and set-up?
The Bliss package at $695 includes delivery, set-up and removal, plus a personalised welcome screen, a classic backdrop and a deluxe prop box. The Extravaganza package adds a full-time attendant and a custom microsite, priced on enquiry.
Can guests get printed photos?
Yes. Unlimited 4x6 or 2x6 prints can be added for $165, subject to fair use based on guest numbers, and an upgrade to 8x6 prints is $95. Printing is not available on the Self-Serve package.
Do I need wifi for the booth?
Sharing by QR code and email needs a reliable internet connection, and the hirer is responsible for providing it. A mobile phone hotspot usually works well, and the venue also needs power and enough space for the booth.
How far ahead do I pay, and can I cancel?
A deposit or full payment confirms the date, and the balance is due 14 days before the event. Deposits are non-refundable, cancellations more than 14 days out may be credited or refunded, and later cancellations are not refunded.
