About Hills Photo Booth
Hills Photo Booth is an owner-run photo booth hire business from the Hills District. Owner Donna Jenkins started it after finding she could not both host and photograph her daughter's birthday party. It now covers weddings, birthdays, engagements, school formals, baby showers, kids parties and work functions around Sydney. The line-up has four main options. The classic and retro booth is an open setup that fits up to about 20 people and shoots on a DSLR with continuous studio lighting, and it costs $650 for three hours, $750 for four or $850 for five. The glam booth gives the clean white-backdrop, softly smoothed look, with 4x6 prints, from $899 for three hours. The 360 video booth uses a 46-inch spinning platform for up to six people, records in 4K with LED lighting, music and overlays, and starts at $999 for three hours. There is also an audio guestbook, where guests leave voice messages on a vintage phone, from $300 for five hours, and a stretch Hummer and GIF booth package aimed at teen parties and formals. Classic packages include unlimited double strips, video messages, a prop box, a guestbook and pens, an attendant, free delivery and removal, and a two-year online gallery. The booth is usually set up an hour before the event, prints take about ten seconds, and two copies come out of each session so one can go straight into the guestbook. Allow roughly 3m x 3m and a standard power point, or 4m x 4m for the 360 booth. Premium backdrops such as shimmer walls, flower walls and a balloon wall can be added to the booking.

What does the cheapest package include?
The three-hour classic and retro booth is $650. It comes with unlimited double photo strips and video messages, a prop box, a guestbook and pens, studio lighting, an attendant, free delivery and removal, a choice of backdrop and a two-year online gallery.
How much space and power does the booth need?
The booth itself is about 2m x 1.5m, but they suggest 3m x 3m so there is room for the prop table and a queue. It runs off a standard 240V 10 amp power point. The 360 video booth needs at least 4m x 4m.
Which areas do they cover?
They travel all around Sydney from the Hills District, from the west through to North Sydney. Wollongong and the Blue Mountains are also covered, though a travel fee may apply there.
When is the booth set up?
Setup is normally about an hour before your event starts, with the exact time arranged with you and the venue. Delivery and removal are included in the packages.
Can I add extra backdrops or services?
Yes. Shimmer walls, flower walls and a green wall are $250 each and a balloon wall is $550. Other extras include an additional hour for $100, a red carpet with bollards for $100, a leather guestbook for $70 and an audio guestbook for $300.
