About Together with Jo
Together with Jo is Jolley Hoang Nguyen, a marriage celebrant and wedding MC based in Cabramatta West who works across Greater Sydney. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese and writes ceremonies that can move between the two, so grandparents and friends alike understand every part. Jo became a registered celebrant in 2022, started out in Darwin and has married couples in Perth, Brisbane and Vietnam as well as Sydney. Her point of difference is covering the whole wedding as one person. She can officiate the ceremony, then host the reception for five hours, introducing the bridal party, running speeches and games, translating announcements and keeping the timeline on track with the DJ and venue. She also hosts Vietnamese tea ceremonies, including the engagement-stage Le Dam Hoi, guiding the gift presentation, tea service and family introductions in both languages. Jo books only one wedding a day and stays the single contact from the first chat to the last dance. Packages range from a short legal ceremony for a handful of guests to a full personalised ceremony with rehearsal and PA, and she works regularly at reception venues around Bankstown, Bonnyrigg and Western Sydney. Weddings on the Central Coast, in the Blue Mountains or on the South Coast carry a small surcharge quoted in advance.

Can Jo be both our celebrant and our reception MC?
Yes. The combined package covers the full ceremony plus five hours of reception hosting, so one person carries the day from the vows to the end of formalities. It is $2,310 including GST.
Does she run ceremonies in Vietnamese?
Yes. Jo is fluent in English and Vietnamese and can write a fully Vietnamese ceremony, an English one, or a bilingual script that includes every guest.
What does the Complete Wedding package include?
A 30 to 40 minute personalised ceremony at your chosen location, a custom script and vows, a rehearsal, PA equipment and planning resources, plus all legal paperwork and BDM registration. It is $1,155 including GST.
Can she host our Vietnamese tea ceremony?
Yes. Jo hosts tea ceremonies in both languages, covering family introductions, gift presentation, the tea service and blessings. A standalone booking covers up to four hours of hosting.
Is there a travel charge?
Within 40km of Cabramatta West the surcharge is $130 for a single location and $200 for two, covering parking, tolls and rehearsal time. Further afield, including interstate, travel is quoted separately.
